Tyre Installation
Can I install my tyre today?
Of course, you can get your tyre installed on the same day. Though, the installer calendar shows one gap for appointments. Most of the installations take place on the same day. There might be a delay in the installation due to the installer and tyres you chose.
For instance, you have selected a tyre that is stored in our Dubai warehouse and you have selected an installer in Dubai. In this case, you can have a tyre installed on the same day. If you have selected an installer in some other city or the tyre is in any other store, your tyre will be installed on the next day.
To get a guarantee for the same day installation, you can identify the tyre and installation option you want. Another way is by calling us at +971 5562 69517, +971 54420 4322 or through chat on the right bottom of the page.
What is wheel alignment, do I really need it?
Your car needs wheel alignment when your tyres have uneven wear. However, we advise you to get your wheels aligned once a year. Wheel alignment is the adjustment of angles of the wheels. This is to make sure your wheels are upright to the ground and parallel to each other. The main aim is to maximize the tyres life, fuel efficiency and make sure tracks are straight.
Here are some signs of a vehicle being out of alignment.
- Wandering on a straight level road
- Uneven tyre wear
- Going away from straight line
- Spokes of the steering wheel off to one side
Tyres of a car that has worn front end suspension parts cannot be aligned. The specialist will check for the worn parts before starting the alignment.
Four wheel alignment is the best kind of wheel alignment. Most of the cars have adjustable rear alignment option. For cars without rear adjustments, a four wheel alignment enables the expert to identify any rear tracking issue. They are able to compensate for them by adjusting the front.
Once the alignment is complete, you must test the alignment of your wheel. You must drive the car on a straight levelled road. You will have to pay attention to the steering wheel. You must check the car goes in a straight line while the steering wheel is in the correct position with spokes level. In case there still is any problem in the alignment, you must take your car back. Ask the mechanic go drive it and fine-tune the settings of alignment.
